On Sunday, October 6, CCP celebrated its 30th anniversary and housewarming in a building near the Konkovo metro station. The building has been undergoing renovation all summer and is now ready to start working. Facilities for classes received an integrative kindergarten, a “school for parents”, a school preparation group, a ceramic workshop, a Moonberry Jam jazz band, a school of motor development, day employment programs for special adults, and other programs.
Trustees of the Center, representatives of state structures, philanthropists and friends came to congratulate the center on the holiday. Addressing them, the Director of the Center, Anna Bitova, said: “we have many plans for this building – to increase the number of children we can help, to train even more representatives of the regions. And a very important part is adults. Today, there are almost no jobs in the city. Our guys are graduating from high school, now there is a College, and then there is almost nowhere to go. There is a point on VDNH. And we want to make a point here for adults.”
